Marmelade de mangue et de guanabana
Que mangent les français au Mexique quand ils se retrouvent pour une ptite soirée ?? Ben des crêpes bien sur !...
Outre l’indétrônable pot de Nutella pour ce genre de soirée, on pouvait aussi trouver sur notre table cette petit marmelade afin de profiter des perles locales que sont la mangue et la guanabana.
Petite explication autour de la guanabana (photo ci dessous): C’est aujourd’hui un fruit très répandu en Amérique latine, en Afrique et en Asie. La guanabana possède de nombreuses vertus hétérogamétiques (brûlure d’estomac, problèmes de digestions, états fiévreux). Sa chaire de couleur naturelle blanche-crème a un goût très doux ressemblant à la poire et l’ananas. Il est une excellente source de Calcium et de vitamine C. Le seul inconvénient réside dans la fait qu’il faille ôter les nombreux pépins noirs qui sont accrocher à sa chaire blanche..
Ingrédients : 
1 grosse mangue
1 guanabana
La moitié du poids équivalent des 2 fruits en sucre
5 cm de racine de gimgembre
Découper la mangue en petits morceaux. Extraire la chaire de la guanabana en prenant soin d’ôter les pépins bien sur. Faire revenir les fruits dans une casserole avec le sucre et le gingembre finement haché jusqu'à ce que le mélange épaississe et colle à la cuillère.Mettre en pot ou déguster de suite pour une soirée crêpe ou pour fourrer un gâteau, etc…

Ce guanaba et la desciption que tu en fais ressemble au corossol de chez moi... Et dans la même famille, il y avait la pomme cannelle, sans les piquants et à chair encore plus crèmeuse... Petite, ma mémé me l'ouvrait en deux (ça se déchirait facilement quand c'était bien mûr), je croquais dedans à pleines dents(je me mettais du jus jusqu'aux oreilles), et ensuite je m'amusais à cracher les pépins le plus loin possible ("Ca fera peut-être un arbre?"). Souvenirs...
Dommage que tu rentres, j'aime trop tes notes de l'autre côté du monde...
